David E. Suever

David E. Suever, 60, of Spencerville, died at 1:38 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011, at the James Cancer Center in Columbus.

He was born December 11, 1950, in Lima, the son of Eileen A. (Hesseling) Suever, who survives in Middle Point, and the late Arthur J. Suever. On August 21, 1971, he married Cheryl A. (Conley) Suever, who survives in Spencerville.

Other survivors include a son, David (Billie) Suever of Belle Center; one daughter, Bridgett (Pete) Williams of Lima; three brothers, Ron (Pam) Suever and Jim Suever, both of Elida, and Joe Suever of Lima; two sisters, Mary Suever of Middle Point and Lori Suever of Van Wert; and 12 grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Jacob Gordon officiating. Burial will be held at a later date, with graveside military rites performed by the Delphos Veterans Council.

Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30 that evening.
