Garnet Maxine Bell

Garnet Maxine Bell, 96, of Van Wert, died at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born July 27, 1914, in Harrison Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Jacob Earl and Dessa Marie (Stewart) Mohler. On August 9, 1938, she married Kenneth Harold Bell, who preceded her in death on August 9, 1995.

Survivors include a cousin, Ivan Wyler of Willshire.

A brother, Stewart E. Mohler, also preceded her in death.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with Pastor Timothy Burden officiating.

There will be no calling hours.
