Beekeeper gives talk at YM Nature Center

The YMCA of Van Wert County’s Camp Clay Nature Center and Nature Committee hosted beekeeper Tim Arheit and his family for the presentation “Everything Bees.”

The Arheits discussed the intricacies of bees, which included a live hive he brought from his business, Honey Run Apiaries in Delphos, where he has honey, pollen, pollination, swarm removal, NWC queens and beekeeping supplies.

Two other Nature Center presentations are scheduled for the summer: “Rock Bridges of Ohio” on Sunday, June 26, and “Venomous Snakes of Ohio” on Sunday, July 17.  Both presentation are free and open to the public and will begin at 2 p.m. at the Camp Clay Nature Center.
