Karen K. Boroff

Karen K. Boroff, 64, of Van Wert, died at 12:26 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was born August 21, 1946, in LaPorte, Ind., the daughter of the late Elbert O. and Jean L. (Ellis) Parker. She married Richard E. Boroff, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include three sons, Rick (Bev) Boroff and Randy (Stephanie) Boroff, both of Van Wert, and Rod Boroff of Madison, Ala.; a sister, Elizabeth Ann (Bill) Greene of Convoy; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Tim Burden officiating. Burial will be in Blue Creek Cemetery in rural Paulding County.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 10, at the funeral home.
