Convoy to have fifth planning session

CONVOY — The fifth Convoy planning meeting will be held for all village residents on Tuesday, June 21, at 7 p.m. at the Edgewood Park Building, 643 N. Main St.

The meeting will be with grant writer Ron Putoff and will focus on identifying specific projects to submit for funding, as a result of a survey for the grant application through the state-funded Community Development Block Grant Revitalization Program.

This meeting is to involve village residents in planning for future needs of the village. This is the last of five meetings to be held as a requirement of the grant, so Convoy officials encourage village residents to attend. The more residents that sign in, the more it will help with the grant scoring, showing the grant review board that village residents are willing participate in the planning for the future. Residents’ presence will help the village in the application process, with the possibility of being able to do more projects within the village.
