BBBS plans Golf for Kids’ Sake event

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer, Auglaize, and Van Wert Counties is inviting teams to participate on Friday, July 22, at the 16th annual Golf for Kids’ Sake at the Mercer County Elks golf course. There will be a shotgun start at noon.

The entry fee is $70 per golfer and includes a box lunch, green and cart fees, catered dinner, prizes, and a chance at a $10,000 hole-in-one prize. There are prizes for first place men’s, women’s, and coed teams, and second place overall team. Entries are limited to the first 30 teams registered; register now to avoid disappointment.

Prizes will be awarded for longest drive, longest putt, and closest to the pin.  Raffle prizes will also be available, including a grand prize of two airline tickets to anywhere in the US.

All proceeds go directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Auglaize, Mercer, and Van Wert Counties to help local youths.
