Film Festival begins

Van Wert Independent Film Festival founder and Executive Director Len Archibald greets a film buff during Friday’s events at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center of Northwest Ohio. Friday’s events included the screening of a number of film shorts, as well as the acclaimed Superheroes. A midnight screening of Glenn Berggoetz’ The Worst Movie EVER! was also held at Van Wert Civic Theatre. Today’s events include breakfast with Theodore James, producer of Superheroes, at 9 this morning at The Pitt Stop, and film screenings at the NPAC, starting at 9 a.m. with French film Mortem and ending at 11 with A Lonely Place for Dying, an American film.
