Scott FD sets date for annual hog roast

SCOTT – The Scott Fire Department will be having its annual hog roast on Saturday, August 6, at Scott Community Park.

Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m., with some events, including an appearance by a life-flight helicopter, at 11 that morning.

Lawn mower drag races will begin at 12:30 p.m., with sign-in at 11:30 a.m., while garden tractor pulls will begin at 2 that afternoon.

Free yard sale space is available, and there will also be a cornhole tournament (contact Jeff at 419.622.4016).

Meals are $6 apiece and proceeds go to purchase new equipment for the Scott Fire Department.
