Chamber seeks to replace Gribble, Mills
Van Wert independent/Chamber of Commerce information
The Van Wert Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking to replace both of its office staff members after resignations were tendered by both President/CEO Kate Gribble and Office Manager Kylie Mills.

Gribble resigned her position as Chamber CEO and president, effective June 30, 2011, according to Chamber Board Chair Shonda Vorst, who said a letter of resignation was received Friday.
Gribble has been with the Chamber since 2005, first serving as director of operations, and then being promoted to CEO/president in 2006.
“It was a pleasure to serve as president/CEO of the Van Wert Area Chamber of Commerce and an honor to have had the opportunity to work together with so many outstanding area businesses to help them build success,” Gribble said. “I am sure the Van Wert Area Chamber of Commerce will continue to be a strong proponent of economic development within the region and a tremendous resource for local businesses.”
The Chamber of Commerce is seeking candidates to fill the position vacated by Gribble. More information is available by contacting the Chamber office at 419.238.4390 or by emailing chamber@vanwertchamber.com.
The Chamber is also seeking to fill a second vacancy, as Mills also tendered her resignation in order to take another position and will be leaving Monday, July 25.
