Benjamin Lee Schneider

Benjamin Lee Schneider of Paulding died shortly after birth on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Survivors include his parents, Michael D. and Jodi D. (Ifft) Schneider of Paulding; three brothers, Joel, Lathan and Thad Schneider, all of Paulding; a sister, Lynelle Schneider of Paulding; grandparents Jim and Sandra (Gerber) Schneider and Larry and Shirley (Gerber) Ifft, all of Fairbury, Ill.; maternal great-grandfather, Elmer Ifft of Fairbury, Ill.; and paternal great-grandparents Earl and Esther Gerber of Forrest, Ill.

Two brothers, Levi John and Joshua Ryan Schneider; maternal great-grandparents, Noah and Emma Gerber and Emma Ifft; and paternal great-grandparents, Al and Gladys Schneider, also preceded him in death.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, July 15, at Dotterer Cemetery in Junction, with church clergy officiating.

There will be no calling hours.

Preferred memorial: Apostolic Christian Home for the Handicapped in Morton, Ill.

Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding is in charge of arrangements.
