YMCA offering membership special
The YMCA of Van Wert County is holding an end-of-the summer membership special. During the week of July 18-23, adults can purchase a two-month membership for $50 and families can purchase a two-month membership for $75, with no additional fees for either membership.
Memberships purchased through this special will end September 23, 2011. If a participant chooses to continue and purchase a regular membership upon this special’s expiration, they may purchase it by Friday, September 30, and pay no joining fee (a savings worth up to $75).
“We are excited to be able to offer this special for those who would like to end the summer in a healthy manner,” stated J.J. McClain, YMCA membership/marketing director. “This also gives people the opportunity to ‘try the Y’ on a short-term basis to see all the family opportunities and health benefits the Y has to offer,” McClain added.
These memberships will include full use of the Y, open and lap swims, participation in all free fitness classes, member rates during fall sports and swim class registration and much more.
“We are looking forward to seeing you at the Y during the week of July 18, 2011 to take advantage of this great membership opportunity,” McClain concluded.
Information about this and other programs available at the Van Wert YMCA can be found by calling 419.238.0443 or visiting www.vwymca.org.
The YMCA of Van Wert County is partially funded by The Van Wert County Foundation and United Way of Van Wert County.
