Hospital, ACS sponsor Thrive program

Van Wert County Hospital Physical Rehabilitation, in coordination with the American Cancer Society, invites cancer survivors, their families and caregivers to the July Thrive meeting.  This free program is designed to challenge and empower cancer survivors to not just survive, but to thrive in mind, body and spirit.

The guest speaker for the July program is Anne Dunn from Van Wert Hospital’s Gaylord E. Leslie Wellness Center. Anne will be demonstrating basic and beginning Tai Chi poses.

This free and open to the public session will be held on Wednesday, July 27, at 11 a.m. at Van Wert County Hospital. Participants will meet in the hospital lobby. Weather permitting, this session will be held outdoors.  Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Please note this is a different day and time from the previous sessions and may be different the future months!

Each monthly meeting has a different topic. The group leaders are open to topic suggestions. Those who have suggestions can contact Natalie Koester, VWCH Physical Rehabilitation, at 419.238.8686.
