Debra Lynn Merkle

Debra Lynn Merkle, 46, formerly of Van Wert, died Saturday morning, July 9, 2011, at the residence of a friend in Lima.

She was born April 22, 1965, in La Porte, Ind., the daughter of the late Ralph Harlan and Wanda Geraldine (Merritt) Merkle.

Survivors include a son, Jared Harlan Merkle of Findlay; one brother, Steven R. Merkle of Van Wert; and two sisters, Michele (Chad) Longstreth of Van Wert and Melissa (Rick) Bergman of Keystone, Ind.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, July 22, at Evangelical Protestant Cemetery in rural Van Wert County, with Van Wert Victory Church clergy officiating.

There will be no calling hours.
