James Dale Dickman

James Dale Dickman, 69, of Middle Point, died at 12:05 a.m. Sunday, July 17, 2011, at Richland Manor.

He was born March 27, 1942, in Lima, the son of the late Valerius “Dick” and Helen (Kraft) Dickman. He married Doris Frances (Gabel) Dickman, who survives in Middle Point.

Other survivors include two daughters, Doris Mary (Gary) Friedrich of Wetzel and Janet Dale (Jack) Collins of Newport, Tenn.; a brother, John Thomas Dickman of Delphos; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with the Rev. Harry Tolhurst officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos, with graveside military rites performed by the Delphos Veterans Council.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
