Rocky Top relief!

Community Health Professionals’ Hospice held its annual Rays of Hope Camp this week at the YMCA of Van Wert County’s Camp Clay. About 35 youths, ages 6-17, from throughout the area attended. Here, McKenna Merkle, Melissa Bono, Misty Hilleary, Becky Anderson and Tyler Metzger from Rocky Top Ice Cream provided a welcome relief from the extreme heat, serving ice cream to camp participants. The annual day camp is designed to help young people gain support, develop friendships and have a better understanding of the grief process in a fun, camp atmosphere. (CHP photo)
