The band has been a popular attraction for corporate, private and public events for over 15 years and have shared the stage with Huey Lewis & the News, Emmy Lou Harris, Martina McBride, The Temptations, Lee Greenwood and many others.  Jenkins and band members developed their unique stage show while performing at Nashville’s “Opryland USA” theme park. Their shows are filled with music, comedy, and audience participation that appeal to audiences of all ages.

The Fountain Park Summer Music Series is sponsored by The Van Wert County Foundation in cooperation with the Van Wert City Parks & Recreation.  The last concert of the summer series will be Friday, August 12, with Gary Puckett & the Union Gap.

Following the Gary Puckett concert, there will be a preview of the upcoming Niswonger Performing Arts Center season followed by a showing of the restored and remixed Turner/MGM classic, The Wizard of Oz, courtesy of Van Wert auto dealers Statewide Ford, Lee Kinstle GM Sales and Service and Taylor Auto Sales.  It will be shown in the park on a 30-foot inflatable movie screen.

Area residents are invited to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy this free entertainment in downtown Van Wert’s Fountain Park.

Food and snacks are available in the park, starting at 5:30 p.m.
