VWHS football season tickets available

Van Wert Athletic Director Kent Smelser has released season ticket information for the 2011 football season.

All 2010 season ticket holders would have the same seats reserved again this year, with three options to purchase tickets. Those include:

• Mail payment and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Van Wert Athletic Department, 10708 State Route 118 South, Van Wert, OH 45891.
• Tickets will be available for pick-up from Thursday, August 18, until Monday, August 29.
• Tickets may also be picked up on Friday, September 9, prior to the first home game at the southwest ticket booth, from 6:30-7:15 p.m.

If no prior arrangements are made, any unclaimed tickets will be available for sale after September 9 to any interested Cougar football fan.

Those who do not have season tickets, but would like to purchase them — as well as those with questions — can call the Athletic Department at 419.238.9601.

Ticket prices are as follows: Adult reserved seating, $25 for each season ticket; retired VWCS teachers, $5 for each season pass; and student season passes, $20 per pass (student pass order forms will also be distributed at each elementary building; names to be on student passes should be included with payment).

Checks should be made payable to: Van Wert Athletic Department.

The 2011 football season begins Friday, August 26, at Bryan High School.
