Travis M. Tippie

Travis M. Tippie, 40, of Delphos, died at 2:17 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at his mother’s residence.

He was born April 27, 1971, in Dunedin, Fla., the son of Theresa (Bertling) Nathanson, who survives in Delphos, and the late Thomas R. Tippie.

Other survivors include two daughters, Riliegh Tippie and Olivia Tippie, both of Delphos; three brothers, Toby (Lisa) Tippie of Lima, Andrew (Miranda) Tippie of Findlay and Christopher Showalter of Delphos; a sister, Cayonnna Torman of Van Wert; his stepmother, Cindy Tippie of Gulfport, Fla.; and a grandmother, Margie Bertling of Delphos.

His maternal grandfather, Bud Bertling; and paternal grandparents, Roy and Catherine Tippie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, August 5, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with the Rev. Brian Bucher officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Delphos.

Calling hours are from noon-8 p.m. Thursday, August 4, and an hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
