Robert C. Nofer

Robert C. Nofer, 70, of rural Ohio City, died at 11:05 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.

He was born March 28, 1941, in Van Wert, the son of the late Francis Anthony and Ruth Martha (Etzler) Nofer. On June 13, 1966, he married Dixie Lee (Myers) Nofer, who survives.

Other survivors include a son, Dana J. (Melissa) Nofer of rural Ohio City; two brothers, Thomas Nofer of rural Ohio City and William Nofer of Farmdale; and a grandson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, August 15, at Cowan & Son Funeral home in Van Wert.
