Ginger Irene (Taylor) Black
Ginger Irene (Taylor) Black died at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Good Shepherd Hospice Center in Ashland.
She was born March 28, 1937, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late James Franklin and Velma Louise (Sites) Taylor. On July 16, 1957, she married Wayne Irvin Black, who survives her in West Salem.
Mrs. Black graduated from Convoy Union High School in 1955.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her children, JoLene Black and her partner, Karen Hoevel, of Angola, Ind., Bruce A. (Kim) Black of Canton and Brian J. (Lisa) Black of Cleveland; siblings Ron (Connie) Taylor and Richard (Linda) Taylor, both of Van Wert, Albert (Betty) Taylor of Convoy and JoAnn (Anthony Lippi) Taylor of Venedocia; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A son, Dennis W. Black, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Tony and JoAnn Lippi speaking. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery.
Calling hours are from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
