Plowing event scheduled for September
Van Wert independent/NW Ohio Big and Little Plow information
The Northwest Ohio Big and Little Plow Event will be held Saturday, September 10, on the farm of Dave and Rose Jones and Howard and Joan Jones, 5259 Liberty Union Road.

Registration for the second annual edition of the event will begin at 9 a.m. September 10, with plowing to start at 10:15 that morning. Area horse teams will plow first, followed by the oldest tractor. The plowing event will end at 4 p.m. that day.
A $5 donation is being requested for each plowing entry. All makes and models of tractors, including garden tractors, and plows are welcome. A forklift loader will be available to assist drivers with loading and unloading of equipment.
A blacksmith demonstration and various vendors will also be a feature of the plowing event. The Van Wert Cushman Club will also have a display of motor scooters at the event. Scott Lions Club will provide food (no beer/alcohol permitted)
Bring the family, friends, lawn chairs, and cameras and enjoy the day. The public is welcome, but not pets.
