Leon Jackson

Leon Jackson, 61, of Van Wert, died at 11:35 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011.

He was born October 23, 1949, in Lauderdale, Miss., the son of the late C.L. and  Mary (Naylor) Jackson. He was married to Roslyn (Howard) Jackson, who survives.

Other survivors include a stepson, Kareem Howard; a brother-in-law, Dwight Howard; a brother, Johnny (Lois) Jackson of Molutie, Ga.; two sisters, Ella Mae Hudson and Bobbi Jean (Willie Mae) Hudson, both of Meridian, Miss.

A brother, Barry Naylor and A.C. Jackson; one sister, Dorothy Jackson; and a sister-in-law, Eliza Jackson, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 20, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Pastor Mozell Davis officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
