Public can learn about matting, framing

It will be an informative evening for Wassenberg Camera Club members and guests from the community when they gather at the Wassenberg Art Center at 7 p.m., Thursday, August 25, to learn effective ways to mat and frame their entries for  photography exhibits.

The information presented should give exhibitors the knowledge to display their photos in the best possible way to impress the judges.  With the Fair and October Show coming soon, and  some potentially serious prize money to be earned, the investment of only time may lead to some significant pay-offs.

Exhibitors at the Fair’s Photography Exhibit are reminded to pick up their entry tags at the Fair-board Office thru August 30 from 9-5 Monday thru Friday and 9-12 on Saturday.  The office is closed on Sunday.  Tagged entries will be checked in from 1-5 on Sunday, August 28.

Remember, the meeting is at 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 25, at the Wassenberg Art Center (643 S. Washington, Van Wert) and there is no cost or obligation to nonmembers who want to take advantage of the information.
