Beginning school can be stressful for many people - especially for those entering Kindergarten. To ease this transition for parents of Kindergarten students, Mrs. Tate, Kindergarten teacher at the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic School, conducted an orientation session last week. She explained goals and curriculum for the year. Mrs. Replogle, K+ instructor, and Mrs. Dowdy, helped with this session.
The first day of school at St. Mary of the Assumption School was exciting. Students arrived with bright shining faces, neatly dressed in their school uniforms and many were sporting new shoes. Joining our school are 17 Kindergarten students and Father Stan who is pictured with Jaden Spray, returning to start fourth grade, and her brother, Tyler, in Kindergarten.
