VW Alumni Band seeking new members

The Van Wert Alumni Band is back, and needs members for the September 9 game against the Kenton Wildcats. Anyone who was a Van Wert High School band member under the direction of Bob Sloan, Tony Alessandrini, Jay Hall or even Leonard Wolf, is welcome and encouraged to join the alumni band.

There will be a rehearsal for music and marching on Tuesday, September 6, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the VWHS Band Room on State Route 118. The call for the game will be 6:30 p.m. in front of the Goedde Building on the day of the game (Crawford Street). The dress for the game will be a red shirt and either khaki shorts or jeans, depending on the weather.
