Knight girls win soccer match with L’view

The Crestview Lady Knights soccer team traveled to the home of the Lincolnview Lady Lancers to compete in its first Northwest Conference match of the season. The Lady Knights came out on top by a score of 6-0.

At halftime the visiting Knights led 2-0, with Crestview taking 23 shots on goal to Lincolnview’s 5.  Scoring for Crestview was Madison Etzler, with three goals, and Brooke Bowen, Catelyn Mefferd, and Brittany Longwell with one goal apiece.

Crestview’s goalkeeper, Megan Foster, earned the shutout and had five saves. Lincolnview goalkeeper Julia Thatcher had 12 saves.

The Lady Knights improve to 2-1 on the season and 1-0 in the NWC.
