Rear-ended

Injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Monday afternoon on U.S. 127, just south of the intersection with Convoy Road. The accident was caused when a gray Ford pickup truck apparently rear-ended a red Pontiac Grand Am while both vehicles were headed north on U.S. 127. Troopers from the Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated the accident, while Scott EMS, Van Wert EMS and the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Department also assisted at the scene.
