Relaxation Yoga coming to local YWCA

The YWCA announces a new fitness class. Relaxation Yoga is gentle, energizing hatha yoga focusing on dynamic breathing, stretching, breathing and mediation techniques, as well as releasing postures for specific areas of the body, such as neck and lower back.

Participants will finish each session with guided relaxation. The focus of the class is on taking time out for oneself and improving one’s well-being.

This class is appropriate for novice students, as well as those more experienced.  Relaxation Yoga is offered Wednesday mornings from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and is taught by Carla Niblick. Niblick has an extensive background in health fitness and incorporates her depth of knowledge into her yoga classes.  She has completed over 200 hours of yoga training and is registered with the Yoga Alliance.  Relaxation Yoga will begin September 14.
