Lester J. Wisener

Lester J. Wisener, 75, of Van Wert, died Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 24, 1936, in Van Wert, the son of the late Lester L. and Cleo V. (Finkhousen) Wisener. On June 6, 1954, he married Patricia (Bayles) Wisener, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include three children, Terri (Allan) Cummins of New Paris, Kimberly (Mike) Lare of Convoy and Gene Wisener of Ohio City; two sisters, Delores Laukhuf of Haviland and Becky Hamrick of Kansas; a sister-in-law, Helen Wisener of Van Wert; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A son, Lester L. Wisener; and three brothers, Willard, Dale and John Wisener, also preceded him in death.

Private family services will be conducted. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.

There will be no calling hours.

Preferred memorials: Liberty Baptist Church Building Fund or Gideons International.
