Area photogs harvest ribbons at Fair

Congratulations are due David Bradford for his first and Best of Show in Senior B/W and to Rick McCoy for his first and Best of Show in Senior Color at the Van Wert County Fair’s Photography Exhibit.
Senior Wassenberg Camera Club members also did well in the judging. Keith Mongold was awarded a 1st and two 3rds in color, Jodi Hattery received a 1st and a 3rd in B/W, Karl Gribler won a 2nd in color, and Cheryl Mongold got a 3rd in color.
It was the Junior Camera Club members however, who raked in the awards and ribbons. Kylee Mongold received two 1sts and the Best of Show in color and a 3rd in B/W. Joshua Hattery was awarded a 1st and a 3rd in color and in B/W, he received two firsts, the Best of Show and a 3rd. Christopher Hattery won two 1sts, and a 3rd in color and a 2nd in B/W, Chloee Gamble received two 2nds, and a 3rd in color and a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in B/W. Nataley Hattery won a 2nd in color and a 1st and 3rd in B/W and Katie Gamble had a 2nd in B/W.
The Wassenberg Camera Club’s next meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, at the Wassenberg Art Center at 643 S. Washington St. “Farm Equipment” will be the competition theme that evening.
