William A. Kuhn

William A. Kuhn, 83, of Payne, died Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at the Paulding County Hospital in Paulding.

He was born January 13, 1928, in Tucson, Ariz., the son of the late Joseph F. and Minnie A. (Ott) Kuhn. On August 16, 1952, he married Mary Ann Chaney, who preceded him in death on November 8, 2000.

Survivors include two sons, Dr. Joseph (Evelyn) Kuhn of Payne and Gary Kuhn of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two daughters, Claudia (Blane) Fickel of Oakwood and Pamela (Joseph) Potter of Zephyr Hills, Fla.; a brother, Jack (Marjorie) Kuhn of Fort Wayne; and five grandchildren.

Two brothers, Daniel Kuhn and Joseph Kuhn, who died in infancy, also preceded him in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 10, at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, with Father G. Allan Fillman officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Payne, with graveside military rites performed by American Legion Post 297.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Friday, September 9, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding.
