Crime Stoppers will pay you cash for information if it will help the Van Wert Police Department solve several burglaries occurring in the northeastern portion of Van Wert.

Six burglaries have been reported since June of this year, with the thief usually entering the residences though a window or rear door.

The items normally taken include jewelry, coins and video game systems.

The three game systems stolen are: Playstation 3, the Wii system and Nintendo DS. A Sony Vaio laptop computer was also stolen.

If you have any information about this crime, call Crime Stoppers at 419.238.STOP (7867).  You will not have to give your name or reveal your identity.  If your information helps to solve this case, Crime Stoppers will pay you a cash reward up to $1,000.
