Richard L. Suever

Richard L. Suever, 71, of Delphos, died at 4:50 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

He was born February 12, 1940, in Allen County, the son of the late Anton and Catherine (Hugenard) Suever. On October 9, 1971, he married Jeanine A. Suever, who preceded him in death on December 22, 2009.

Survivors include a brother, Ralph (Nova) Suever of Elida; and one sister, Rose (Paul) Sever of Delphos.

A daughter, Andrea “Renee” Suever; three brothers, Albert, Wilford and Melvin Suever; and one sister, Ruth Norbeck Bradshaw, also preceded him in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Jacob Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos, with graveside military rites performed by the Delphos Veterans Council.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 12, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30 that evening.
