Cougar v-ball team downs Ottoville

OTTOVILLE — The Van Wert Cougar volleyball team traveled to Ottoville to take on the “Big Green” team on Saturday afternoon.

The Cougars started out slow in the first game and were down 18-23 before Maggie Allmandinger ran a streak of serves to take the lead, 24-23. The Cougars then went on to win the first game, 28-26.

That first game was all the Cougars needed to get the momentum going and they continued, taking the match in three straight wins. The second game score was 25-17 and third game 25-18.
