Carl E. Booher

Carl E. Booher, 65, of El Paso, Texas, and a longtime resident of Van Wert, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2011, at the William Beaumont Army Hospital in El Paso, after an extended illness.

He was born July 30, 1946, in Chicago, Heights, Ill., the son of the late Johh and Jean (North) Booher.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn, who resides in Deming, N.M.; a daughter, Nikkie Vann of Convoy; one stepson, Shane Skinner; two stepdaughters, Michelle Laisure and Sunday Laisure; three sisters, Mona (Adrian) Allenbaugh, Rae (Alan) Bigham and Jackie (Larry) Klinger, all of Van Wert; two brothers, Jim (Phyllis) Adams of Van Wert and Bill (Sharon) Booher of Findlay; his brother-at-heart, John (Therese) Marshall of Van Wert; a granddaughter; many stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A son, J. Kevin Booher, and a brother-at-heart, Robert “Spike” (Mary Jane) Haines, also preceded him in death.

A remembrance service and dinner will be held at a later date.
