Gene E. Rowe

Gene E. Rowe, 62, of Melrose, died Monday, September 12, 2011, at Paulding County Hospital in Paulding.

He was born November 26, 1948, in Winamac, Ind., the son of the late Junior and Pauline E. (Jackson) Rowe.

Survivors include three daughters, Tina, Geneine and Kristhene Rowe; three sisters, Juanita (Bill) Sharpe of Antwerp, Terry (Jim) Clark of Cecil and Gina (Brian) Vance of Paulding; a stepfather, Bob Unger of Paulding; a companion, Noline Wagner; and many grandchildren.

A brother, Jim “Bo” Unger, and a grandson, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 17, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Paulding.

Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Friday, September 16, and an hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.
