FHC/CVS offering free influenza shots

Family Health Care of Northwest Ohio (FHC) is pleased to announce that it is once again participating in the CVS Caremark/Direct Relief free flu shot program. Uninsured patients of Family Health Care may come to the office at 140 Fox Road, Suite 304, and pick up their free flu shot voucher, which may be redeemed at any CVS Pharmacy for a free flu shot.

CVS Pharmacies are open seven days a week and no appointment is needed to receive the flu shot.  The vouchers are good through December 31.

With the flu season rapidly approaching, FHC encourages its patients to protect themselves early with a seasonal flu shot. Seasonal flu can be unpredictable, and even healthy people can get seriously ill from the flu. Patients with Medicaid, Medicare or private insurance may receive a shot at the Health Center.
