VWCT to hold auditions

Auditions for The Psychic will be held at Van Wert Civic Theatre on Sunday, September 25 and Monday, September 26, both nights at 7 p.m. The Psychic is a murder mystery/comedy that won the 2011 Mystery Writers of America Edgar Allen Poe award for Best Play.

Adam Webster, a down-on-his-luck writer, in desperation to make the rent, has put a sign in his apartment window, “Psychic Readings $25.” The characters it draws in lead into a tangled murder mystery of sorts in this quirky comedy by Sam Bobrick.

The director for this play is Steve Lane, a veteran actor and director at VWCT. The production will be staged November 10 – 13 and 17- 20. The cast calls for 4 men and 2 women. For more information, call Lane at 419-203-7469.
