The 2011 Convoy Community Days Parade will be held this Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 1:00pm and several Convoy area youngsters will have

a quite different view this year. The parade committee has announced the theme “CONVOY PRESCHOOL CELEBRATING 25 YEARS” with Convoy Pre School students as the Grand Marshals.
The Convoy Preschool is a state licensed preschool, housed in the basement of the Convoy United Methodist Church at the corner of North Main & Sycamore Streets in Convoy and was established in November of 1986. The Convoy Preschool strives to follow a primary goal of meeting the needs of all families with preschool children while providing a consistent secure atmosphere in which each child can grow and develop at his/her own pace.
The preschool offers three programs: 3’s & 4’s, Pre K. The objective of the preschool is to provide an educational and developmental program which will meet the needs of preschool children. Introduction to basic concepts such asocial skills, self care skills, fine and gross motor skills, language, speech and cognitive skills. A structured program along with hands on experiences will aid in the nurturing and growing process of each child and enhance their positive qualities while always striving to build their positive self image.
