Cougar volleyball team splits matches

The Van Wert varsity volleyball team won the first match of a tri-match against Bryan 23-25, 25-22 and 25-22, but then lost to Wayne Trace in three games, 11-25, 25-19 and 20-25.

Cougars are back in action tonight when they face local rivals the Crestview Knights at home.

The theme for the game is “Black Out” the Knights, with fans asked to wear black attire and get registered for a gift certificate from Collins Fine Foods.
