Police, coroner reviewing woman’s death

The death of a Van Wert woman earlier this month is currently under review by the Van Wert Police Department and Van Wert County Coroner’s Office, according to a news release from Police Chief Joel Hammond.

Police officers and EMS personnel from the Van Wert Fire Department were dispatched shortly after a 9-1-1 call was received at 8:19 p.m. September 16 stating that a woman later identified as Haley Moser, 21, had been found at 318 N. Washington St. by another person who was requesting assistance.

Moser was taken to Van Wert County Hospital by the EMS squad and hospital personnel made the official determination that she had died.
