The Knights scored again on a shot by Catelyn Mefferd at the 6:58 mark of the first half, but the Wildcats held onto the lead at halftime, 3-2.

The Lady Knights rallied quickly in the second half on a goal by Catelyn Mefferd at 38:11, assisted by Brooke Bowen.

Crestview recorded 12 shots on goal and Jefferson had eight shots. Crestview goalkeeper Megan Foster had five saves and Delphos keeper Cassidy Bevington had seven saves.

Crestview’s record is now 4-4-2 and 1-1-2 in the NWC.

The Lady Knights will travel to Van Wert on Saturday to take on the Lady Cougars in a charity game, “Kick 4 the Cure”, to raise money for breast cancer research.
