C’view v-ball team wins, honors seniors
CONVOY — The Crestview Lady Knights kept things rolling on Senior Night as they add yet another win to their conference record and remain unbeaten at 8-0. Crestview’s overall record also improves to 16-3.
The Lady Knights defeated the Columbus Grove Bulldogs in three straight games, 25-11, 25-10 and 27-25. Crestview had complete control of the first two games, but in the third and final game of the match, the Bulldogs made their presence known. However, the Knights were able to come from behind and pull out a nailbiter. Crestview will be back in action as they host the Delphos St. John’s Blue Jays on Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
Crestview junior varsity was defeated in two games tonight by the Bulldogs 9-25, 25-27. They are now 10-6 overall and 6-2 overall in the Northwest Conference.
Crestview also honored its five seniors, who have brought so much success to the CHS volleyball program. Those seniors include Holly Genth and McKenzie Nofer, both three-year letter winners; and Taylor Hamrick, Danica Hicks and Taylor Springer, all four-year letter winners.
