Knight girls’ soccer team downs Ada

CONVOY — The Crestview Lady Knights hosted the Ada Bulldogs in girls’ soccer action on Thursday evening.

The Lady Knights came away with the win by the final score of 8-0. Scoring for Crestview was Lauren Schmid, Catelyn Mefferd, Mackenzie Richard, Brittany Longwell, Riley Guest, who each had a goal, and Madison Etzler, who scored three goals.

The Knights recorded 27 shots on goal to Ada’s 2. Crestview goalkeeper Megan Foster had two saves and earned the shutout, while Ada keeper Natasha Long had 10 saves.

With the win, the Knights’ record improves to 6-5-2 and 2-1-2 in the Northwest Conference.

Crestview will host Bluffton on Monday in a NWC match.
