The Van Wert Hospital Board of Trustees presented longtime volunteer Dottie Stahl with a board resolution acknowledging her years of services on behalf of the hospital. Stahl retired in July after serving as the hospital’s Red Cross Volunteer Coordinator for more than 20 years.

“The board wholeheartedly thanks Dottie for her commitment to the hospital,” stated Jon Bagley, board chairman. “It is an honor and a privilege to present Dottie with this resolution. She has touched the lives of so many here at the hospital.”

During the presentation, Stahl commented that what began as a three-month commitment to the hospital turned into 20 years. Since retiring, she has received a box full of cards and letters to know her time was well spent.

Mark Minick, Van Wert Hospital President/CEO said, “one of the greatest tributes to any one person is we are better for knowing you and the hospital is truly better for knowing Dottie Stahl.”
