Juanita J. Cross

Juanita J. Cross, 78, of Van Wert, died at 6:55 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2011, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born July 22, 1933, in Springfield, Ill., the daughter of the late William J. and Dorothy (Wilson) Bell. On November 7, 1954, in Decatur, Ill., she married Harold W. Cross, who preceded her in death on January 6, 2000.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamela (Kevin) Langdon of Sutherland Springs, Texas, and Debora Cross of Van Wert; a brother, William C. (Dorothy) Bell of Elizabethtown, N.J.; one sister, Betty Lorraine Thomas of Jackson, Tenn.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Her stepfather, Lee Herr, also preceded her in death.

Private family funeral services will be held at a later date, with the Rev. Steve Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

There will be no calling hours.
