Betty Jean Miller

Betty Jean Miller, 88, of Grover Hill, died Thursday, November 3, 2011, at Van Wert Manor in Van Wert.

She was born January 19, 1923, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Harry and Hazel (McClure) Gatshall. On April 5, 1947, she married Ernest Miller, who preceded her in death on November 22, 1998.

Survivors include four sons, Keith (Linda Sue) Miller and Dennis (Janet) Miller, both of Grover Hill, Ronald (Katie) Miller of Orlando, Fla., and James “Jay Bird” (Donna) Miller of Van Wert; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Three brothers, Charles Owen, Glenn and Berman Gatshall, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, November 14, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, November 13, and an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
