AEP plans power outage in county today

Some AEP electric power customers on Ohio 49, German Church Road, Harrison Wilshire Road and surrounding areas will experience a power interruption today, beginning around 9 a.m. The outage will last approximately 30 minutes, weather permitting.

The outage is necessary to safely make repairs on equipment that serves the area.  In the event of inclement weather, the outage will occur on Thursday, November 10, at the same scheduled time.

Customers in the above areas have received notification of the 30-minute outage via phone message. Approximately 114 customers will be affected.
