Festival of Trees auction date scheduled

The 2011 YWCA Festival of Trees Silent Tree Auction will be held Friday, November 18, at Willow Bend Country Club.  The auction will be open to the public for bidding from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. that day.

Numerous businesses and individuals throughout the area have agreed to decorate and donate the trees and wreaths for silent bidding. This year the YWCA is adding a twist!  Those whose bids are accepted have the option of donating the beautifully decorated tree to a less fortunate family in the community.  The YWCA urges all to come out and enjoy the beautifully decorated tress this holiday season. All bids are welcome.

This year the Silent Tree Auction is being held at this year’s “A Toast to the YWCA” event on November 18. The YWCA encourages all to participate for a grand evening of wine and beer tasting in the impressive atmosphere of Willow Bend. Tickets are still available for “A Toast to the YWCA” at the YWCA. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to support the less fortunate in the community while celebrating the holiday season.
