Thomas E. King

Thomas E. King of Middle Point died at 8:58 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2011, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born September 26, 1938, in Perrysburg, the son of the late Charles and Merle Gertrude (Wohlgamuth) King. He married Ann (Martin) King, who survives.

Other survivors include five sons, Craig (Jody) King of Middle Point, Tom (Lori) King Jr. and Brent King, both of Toledo, Greg (Henrietta) King of California and Tim King of Michigan; two daughters, Kim (Steve) Nizio of Genoa and Robin King of Toledo; four sisters, Loretta (Sam) Skahill and Jackie (Albert) White, both of Toledo, Phyllis (Charles) Carl of Walbridge and Patsy Schram of Oregon (Ohio); nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Raymond and Jerry King; and a sister, Helen Madjiwita, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Friday, November 18, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Burial will be in King Cemetery in Washington Township, Van Wert County.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, November 17, and from 10 a.m.-noon on Friday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Middle Point Fire and EMS or Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
